DESCIPTION OF THE VILLAGE KPADAFE

Kpadafe, a small picturesque locality of the western –south Togo located at 164 km of the Lome capital,
in one of the most beautiful mountainous areas of the country. The climate as one can expect it is exceptionally exotic. The diversity of the food crops and frugal makes the pride of its inhabitants. The latter are not less proud when it is a question of speaking about their cultural richness whose origins are lost in the mists of time. To go in Kpadafe is also to see VODI, a beautiful source of water whose purity does not leave any doubt about its virtue and its history. In rainy season, the glare increasingly greener of the landscape exceeds all than one can imagine of a tropical area. Useless to explain that Kpadafe is the best place dreamed to accommodate the camp and its activities.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES

The volunteers will work at the sides of teachers and directors of the schools of Kpadafé and the neighbouring schools to give courses established well according to the programs and pedagogy.
The courses will be intercalated by activities of visual arts, drawing, painting and other plays " coming on behalf of the volunteers " being able directed the child to be developed on all the plans especially intellectual.

APPENDIX
The volunteers will be able to come on the building site with cameras, video and other recording equipments of images and sound. Moreover, they can bring with them of school didactic materials for the pupils and to the primary education, secondary establishments and for the nursery school of the tools: " grips, small hammers, scissors, knives, wire, colors, papers, biros, felts, books, plays...

Cultural Program:
The afternoons/ evenings are mostly occupied by lectures, parties, documentary films and field visits. Cultural activities will be directed towards learning about the Togolese History, and hope for the future. These activities aim at providing more information and analysis the Kpadafé culture, the normal people of the Kpadafé daily life.
